JOEL MCDONALD, GENERAL COUNSEL

Joel M. McDonald is a graduate of the University of Alabama (bachelor of science in accounting with highest honors) and the University of Virginia School of Law (juris doctor).

Prior to joining the Industrial Investors Group, he practiced law for many years in Washington, DC, New York, Moscow and London. While in private practice he advised clients on international taxation, the establishment of private equity funds, and international joint ventures.

During 1994 – 1997 he was the chief foreign advisor to the Russian Government on tax reform.

He was also a partner in Salans, an international law firm, where he was Chairman of the firm’s Tax Committee and a member of its Global Management Board.

Joel joined the Industrial Investors Group in March 2006. He serves as the General Counsel of the Industrial Investors Group and is a director of Industrial Investors Capital Management Limited in London.
