NIKOLAI ERMOCHKINE, VICE-PRESIDENT

Nikolai Ermochkine was born and educated in Moscow. He has worked in diplomacy (Russian Foreign Ministry), international trade and finance (Louis Dreyfus Corp.) and strategy consulting (BCG). He now lives between Paris and Moscow, working as a consultant for the Internet Business Solutions Group of Cisco Systems. His publications include ‘Corporate IT Strategy’, ‘Strategic HR management at the Internet Age’, ‘Corporate Governance in Russia’. He is a frequent contributor to the Russian business press on topics of IT and business.

Nikolai has a degree in International Relations from the Moscow Institute for International Relations (with Honors), MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, and a PhD degree in economics.

Nikolai is responsible for supporting the management of the operating companies in defining their growth strategy, performance objectives, M&A and exit options. He also leads or coordinates special projects for Industrial Investors.
